Sustainability in Bradesco

Learn more about the Sustainability performance of Bradesco by accessing our website.

Sustainability is among the strategic drivers of the Organization because we understand that being able to manage environmental, social and governance (“ESG” or “ASG”, in the Portuguese acronym) issues is fundamental to Bradesco’s survival and growth in a context that is increasingly dynamic and challenging. As we seek to generate shared and long-term value for investors, employees, suppliers, customers and the society, we also contribute to the sustainable development of the country.

We have incorporated this vision in our management, mainly by means of a robust governance in an effective set of policies and corporate standards, in the engagement with our stakeholders, and in the management of our ESG performance.

Sustainability Strategy

In 2019, Bradesco has reviewed its Sustainability Strategy considering the major challenges and global trends, the perception of stakeholders, and the business goals of the Organization and major national and international agendas for sustainable development – especially the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.

As a result, new pillars were established to direct the work of Bradesco on the theme of sustainability. In addition, in line with the guidelines, six of the 17 SDGs have been prioritized for channeling the efforts of the Organization.

Our main practices, ESG indicators and targets are disclosed in the Bradesco’s Integrated Report, which follows the main international guidelines for corporate disclosure.
