Actions about Ethics

Ethics have been a part of the day-to-day routine of the Bradesco since its foundation. Foreseeing this matter as a competitive strength of the company, the Bank’s Internal Regulation was established in 1944.

In the early 1970s, employees who assumed leadership positions issued and signed their own Declaration of Principles, which, in general, contemplated the basic principles of ethical conduct.

The essence of these principles gave rise to the Bradesco Organization’s Code of Ethical Conduct, approved in 2003 by the Board of Directors, which also approved its last update,  on February 10, 2020, aiming to meet the best Corporate Governance and Sustainability practices, which reflecting current themes, it reinforces the guidelines that are essential for the conduct of activities and that must be observed in all interactions, whether with the internal or external public.

The Integrity and Ethical Conduct Committee, whose members are appointed by the Board of Directors of Banco Bradesco S.A., is the body responsible for the application of the Codes of Ethical Conduct, determining actions regarding their disclosure and compliance.

The effective dissemination of the Code of Ethical Conduct is complemented by several awareness and training actions, among which e-learning courses (TreiNet) stand out, the inclusion of the topic in the management training courses and other classroom courses, in addition to the specific video training, video clip and other endomarketing resources.
