Here you can find the main information for the Bradesco ADRs listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). In addition to increasing the liquidity of Bradesco stock, this initiative, implemented on November 21, 2001, has provided more transparent information to investors (especially foreign investors). This is because since then Bradesco’s financial statements have been prepared in accordance with (to) generally accepted accounting principles in the United States (US GAAP). As from 2012 (reference date: 2011), the financial statements filed at the US Securities and Exchange Commission, or SEC, will be prepared under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) issued by IASB.

On March 13, 2012, Bradesco expanded the trading volume of ADRs backed by common shares traded on New York Stock Exchange.

Note that ADRs are an instrument created to make it easier for U.S. investors to trade shares of companies resident in countries other than the United States, with a specific number of shares represented by an ADR, which are priced and traded in U.S. dollars on U.S. stock markets. The payment of dividends for these shares is also made in dollars.
